It’s that time again—snow is on the ground, winter is here, and we’re looking forward to a great season on the slopes. Scout Nights will be held on two nights in December and two nights in February. The troop can pick one night in December and one in February. We will talk to the scouts on Thursday to gauge any interest in going.

Reminder of Dues for 2026

Posted by jneill on Dec 17 2025 - 9:51am

Just a friendly reminder to bring dues to this Thursday's meeting if you haven't already.  If needed, please contact Jeff Neill to make other arrangements.  Annual dues (per child) for 2026 are $105, same as last year.  Please add $15 if you'd also like to receive Scout Life magazine (optional).  If your child helped with the Mulch and/or Chicken BBQ fundraisers, you may reduce the amount owed by $30 per each fundraiser they volunteered for.  Checks may be made payable to "Troop 134." (Please expand post to see list of payment amounts)

A Rushwood Christmas, December 13th & 14th Volunteer Opportunity

12/12 Update - Anyone who has signed up can ask for Mike or Bob when they arrive tomorrow. They will need help with parking or with little kids. Remember to dress in layers!

Troop 10 has reached out to us to see if any scouts can help this weekend (and meet scouts from Troop 10). There is a service hours opportunity at the Rushwood barn (former Rochester Wedding barn-near Colby's bbq site). Scouts would be helping with parking and would get pizza for their efforts. Please sign up in the on the calendar and comments what day and hours you are available.
