Welcome back! We hope everyone had a relaxing summer. Our first troop meeting is Thursday, September 5th at 7 pm. Every meeting is bring a friend along who is interested in scouting. The scouts can earn the recruiter strip emblem when they refer a friend and they join scouting. We look forward to another great year.

Winner, winner, chicken dinner or lunch this Saturday at the Rush Fireman's Carnival. Please let us know when you plan to show up to help the troop. You can stay for as long as you want. We only need adults in the morning for setup and to start the fires, cooking. The scouts and families are welcome more towards 10 am. We plan to start selling chicken by noon. Class B shirts are required. It is also an excellent opportunity to bring a friend to scouting to check out the troop.

Come march in the Rush Fireman's Parade. We will be passing out a sweet treat along the parade route to all the onlookers. Full Class A is required. Stay afterwards at the carnival but not too late, we have to get cooking chicken in the morning.

Meet at the Rush Post Office by 6:40.

It is never to early to plan for Massawepie. The dates are Aug 3 - 9, 2025.

A quick update on our adventure. The scouts are safe and enjoying the week here at camp. We are currently sheltering in place because of a lost child not from our troop. You might come across some posts about a lost child from camp and wanted to make you aware of the situation.

We have replaced the wheels on the trailer. The trailer has been packed so we will not need to meet on Thursday, 7/25. See you all Sunday.
